You must meet your obligations with respect to the Work Health and Safety Act 2012 and Work Health and Safety Regulations 2012, Codes of Conduct and Australian Standards as required by Legislation. All incidents and near misses must be reported to Built Security Australia/Built Electrical Australia.
All employers have responsibilities for consultation. Built Partners & Suppliers working on Built Security Australia/Built Electrical Australia controlled projects shall ensure that adequate consultation procedures are in place such that their employees are able to raise any safety concerns directly with the Built Partners or Suppliers management and ensure these are dealt with promptly.
Built Partners and Suppliers should hold daily Pre-Start Safety Meetings where their own site personnel are briefed on workplace hazards, Safe Work Methods Statements (JSA or equivalent) are reviewed and site safety meeting feedback is provided. This forum should be used to increase safety knowledge and awareness amongst your employees and be open to consultation on any safety issues on site.
